the best way to eat an apple

 as many of you know i love Korean dramas and therefore love Koreans. I was watching one of my favorite shows and noticed that the main girl in it cut and ate her apple differently than we do. So I decided to try it and it is so much easier to cut and eat and looks prettier. So here you go... It looks cool huh???

I am soooo excited. Lousiette (one of my friends from France) is coming tonight. She is going to stay for a month. She doesn't speak English so things are going to be intersting since none of my family or friends speak French. I did my hair today...

There is a  fashion blog that I found called wearinginonmysleeves that I love. The girl who made this blog does the same thing I do. She gets really ugly or huge clothing and makes them cute by drastically altering them. she also will make things from buying fabric, which has now become my favorite. She is a lot better at it then me but I figured since I actually did my hair today and was wearing a dress I made I would take a few pics and post them. So here a few pics of the dress I made. I cut the top of a  long sleeved shirt and attached some lace to make a dress. I then cut the sleeves and sewed a little lace at the end of the sleeve. It makes me happy every time I wear it:)

So as many of you know (actually many of you don't) i'm just about to buy a town home and shouldn't be buying anything at all....... well nordstrom's half year sale for women doesn't count does it? I only bought one thing which happens to be the best shoe ever Miz Mooz. These are my fourth pair and I love them. I really had no choice in buying them so it's not my fault.

They're cute huh???

btw this brand are the most comfortable show I've ever worn and are made really, really well. Once you buy them you'll never go back.

So I have noticed that for the past few months I have been in the selfish cycle of only worrying about myself and my own problems. So yesterday when my mom told me about the culture festival downtown that most of my immediate family goes to every year I thought nah I just want to do my own thing tonight. Luckily I realized how silly that would be and went shopping with my mom and then met my brother, sis-in-law and nieces at the festival. I am so glad that I decided to go since i had a blast. Want to know a way to become the coolest aunt ever? It was so easy I just played with my nieces like crazy and had a blast. Our playing consisted of hand stand contests (which the older one is pretty good at), front hand springs, and arm wrestling.  It was one of the best days ever and then since we had so much fun my nieces begged to have a sleep-over which we did. Bella ended up sleeping with me and talked while sleeping the whole night...also she kept kicking off her blankets and saying she was cold, so for the whole night I was recovering her to make sure she wasn't cold. Was it worth it? Yes...even though getting sleep is priceless to me it was hilarious. Bella talked with me for a while before we went to bed and was so cute. She then asked my mom the next morning if she could hear us talking and my mom replied, "yes" which made Bella smile. Then this morning Natayla and I were making breakfast together since we are both early risers. While making crepes Natayla told me all the things she could do by herself at her house. Here are some of the things she said she can do..."vacuum all by myself, put soap in the washer by myself, clean the floor..." I can't remember the other things that she said but it was funny. She wanted to make sure I understand how grown-up she was and that she can do  A LOT of things. Then we took the dog for a walk and of course they took turns holding her leash. After that they wanted me to curl their hair and put eye shadow on.

weird birthday

It has now been a few years that I could care less about my bday, but I still would like it to be a good day even if nothing special happens. So here is the story a few members in my family got in a fight the night before my bday, which is crappy but I wasn't involved so that was good. Then later that night  I got pulled into the fight without even knowing it and the fact that it had nothing to do with me...urghhhh.. So this carried on to the next day..my birthday. Fun... Thankfully my sister supplied me with my FAVORITE chocolate that you can only get from Europe. Cote d'or dark chocolate with hazelnuts...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I didn't even like chocolate until I tasted this amazing piece of heaven. Anyway long story short I did nothing for my birthday until Chelsea took me to get a yummy boba drink. We are a little obessed with the honeydew boba drink that we buy at Lollicup, but of course it's closed on Mondays which is the day my bday fell on so she found another place that sells boba. NOT THE SAME AT ALL. We hated our drinks and took these random pics at the yogurt place which was crappy. The day after my bday 2 of my students gave me some presents which were awesome one made me a beautiful bracelet and the other gave me dead weeds.... pics below.


This makes me laugh just looking at it. Markelle (one of my students) the morning after my birthday came to me and said teacher I picked these for you at my house for your bday. Funny thing about this is she had been holding them do tightly in her hand that they were dead and all sweaty when she gave them to Me:)

One of my other students Julieth made this bracelet for me which I love and have been wearing every day. She gets so excited everyday and says you love that bracelet don't you. now I have had 2 other students give me bracelets so I have been wearing 3 of them everyday since they get excited that I wear them. 

And of course my amazing sis who bought me bunch of this amazing chocolat..mmmmm

Annie going to prom

I just got back from doing Annie's makeup for prom and she looks soooooo pretty. I of course did not get ready today and didn't look as good. When I got there I apologized for not having my hair and makeup done and she said,"It's alright." Then while I was doing her makeup she said, " You should've put on some eye shadow"... not in a mean way, she really thought it would've been a good idea.
