Is it weird that I love weddings?

I love weddings!!!! i even love to going to weddings when I don't even know the bride or groom very well. I remember as a missionary in Grenoble my companions and I were asked to help at the church for a wedding reception of one of the members. It was at this time that I realized that many people do not like weddings especially sister missionaries who are occupied for 18 months not having time to even think about marriage. One of my companions started freaking out at the reception so I followed her into the bathroom. She literally was about to hyperventilate explaining to me how crazy it was for her to be at a wedding as a missionary.  Meanwhile I was having a blast and actually helped a few months later at another wedding. So my mom asked me to be her date for one of my second cousins wedding and I said of course. Btw I have never met the groom (my second cousin) but he was very nice..weird since so many people are rude on their wedding day:) Well anyways I love weddings and especially love the food. I forgot to take many pics of the wedding, but here is one of my mother and I and also of my mom's cousin who is hilariously posing for the camera.

This is the mother of the groom posing for me. She is hilarious. Her son told her that she wasn't allowed to be funny or anything at the wedding. So she came to our table and asked how it would be possible to not be herself since all she does is joke around? hard life...

FUN...FUN...FUN

A few weeks ago I was able to go to bear lake and then on our way back we went rock climbing in Logan. It was a blast!!!! here are some pics.

Love this pic of Becca rock climbing. The nest few pics are of us climbing rock at the level that I'm used to. Becca kept getting stuck in this one spot towards the  middle and couldn't get to the top. On he third attempt I wouldn't let her down and she eventually made it up and hated me for it

He was an amazing climber and showed me some techniques that really helped. I always use my arms too much and it gets me way tired, but I finally able to use my legs more, which is what you;re supposed to do

remember me not letting Becca down from the other wall? Well it was at this point in the pic below where I said let me down!!! and did he? no... they did the same thing that I did with Becca and I eventually made it up to the top, but I thought my arms were going to fall off.

Forgot to mention that the shoes killed our feet. i didn't know that climbing shoes are supposed to be SUPER small and tight. The guy I borrowed them from told me that the pair I was wearing should be even bigger and I laughed and said non i think i'm good with these. Becca has smaller feet than me and she wore the same pair I did and was dying. Here is a pic or our feet after climbing. The shoes dyed our feet red.

finally getting started...

It's taking a little longer than I thought to get completely moved into my place. Everyone that has come over has said how surprised they were at how much I have gotten done, but since I have a thousand things I want to change I don't feel like I've done a lot. So today I was looking at the vanity in my bathroom and hating the color of the wood, so I decided to paint it. I already had the paint so this cost me nothing and I love the difference. am I getting old?

  I'm starting to wonder since i never want to go out at night and am fine going to bed early if I'm getting old. Crazy thing is that I am a spaz until 9 pm and then all my energy is gone and ready early the next morning. That's what a morning person is. most of my friends are not morning people so it gets interesting.  Problem is even as a teenager I never liked to stay up late and always went to bed early so....anyways some friends asked me to go to the Joshua Radin concert last week and I said Yes. He is an amazing singer and nice to look at. Well anyways here are some of the pics. Tristan Prettyman opened for him, which made me happy since she also has an amazing voice. 

Here is me leaving the concert early since I agreed to run 7 miles with my friend early that next morning. The reason I look weird I think is because it is past my bed time...just saying since I have crazy eyes

I'm officially a homeowner!!!

yippee I finally signed on a town home in Murray and can't wait to move in. I maybe don't get the keys until Monday, but it's mine.....This whole finding and buying a home experience has been interesting. I went into it full of crazy excitement and then when the day for signing kept getting put back again and again and again..I thought it would never happen. I was originally supposed to have signed in the 13th of June, but that didn't happen and signed yesterday. Patience is one of my weak points so this had been great (sarcasm).

Here is me right after closing with one of the presents my lender gave me full of goodies. In addition my agent gave me some $$$$ and my lender also gave me a home depot gift card, which I already used today...
